Allergy
There are many reasons why particular foods can cause medical conditions. These reactions are generally called food intolerances.
To be more precise, reactions can be defined under two separate types. There are those that are directly related to the immune system (food allergies) and those that are not related to the immune system (food poisoning, pseudo allergies and metabolic diseases).
The most important food intolerances:
Related to the immune system:
- Type III food allergy (delayed allergy)
- Type I food allergy (immediate allergy)
Not related to the immune system:
We have specialised in type III food allergy. Since 2000, we have offered ImuPro, a comprehensive blood test of the most advanced scientific level, which identifies delayed food allergies.
